Hands-on joyful creative play carries into a deeper sense of devotion. Our creative process can be a profound way of experiencing inner communion with God.
This unique retreat will include a hands-on creative process led by Dana as well as conversations with Asha and Dana about the role and importance of creativity on the spiritual path.
The sessions will include inspirational music and simple movement that opens us to the flow. We will also offer an optional group Sadhana comprised of yoga, energization and meditation.
This will be a small intimate group to allow one-on-one time with Dana.

Temecula is a beautiful area in Southern California, about an hour north of Encinitas. A Mediterranean climate in the wine country, its gentle mountains nourish pine and cypress as well as palm trees, citrus and avocado groves. Our wonderful light drenched hacienda retreat is situated on 200 acres and has a warm and nurturing feel.

Dana Lynne Andersen
Dana is a multimedia artist, writer, playwright and teacher whose paintings have been featured on the covers of books, magazines and calendars. Her artwork and visionary thinking have been explored in newspapers, radio and television.
A pioneer in the field of art and consciousness, Dana is an internationally recognized artist and creative, and founder of Awakening Arts Academy in Italy and the US. She uses the arts to catalyze personal transformation and collective evolution. Dana is also a loving and inspiring teacher, a “Vesuvius of creativity” and an “important visionary for the consciousness community.”
Asha Nayaswami
We are also honored to be joined by special guest Asha Nayaswami.
With warmth and wisdom, Asha weaves spiritual teaching into daily, ordinary life. She is a master teacher, considered by many to be one of the most nuanced and clear teachers of Yoga in the world today.
Asha is a lifelong disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. She studied and worked closely with his direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda for 45 years.
