Inspiration

Ananda members base their lives and spiritual practices on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, the first yoga master of India to take up permanent residence in the West. Yogananda arrived in America in 1920, and began teaching the universal path of Self-realization. Twenty-six years later he wrote Autobiography of a Yogi, which soon became a best-selling spiritual classic.

Meditation and the Path of Kriya Yoga

Now is as good a time as ever to begin your inner journey to self-realization through meditation. Meditation is a simple yet powerful practice which can be done anytime and anywhere to center and calm oneself and potentially change every aspect of one’s life for the better.

Ananda meditation centers on the inner Divine Bliss all human souls share in common. Begin the journey back to bliss with us.
