A Sacred Journey in Los Angeles
Stay at our ashram and journey to the sacred sites across Los Angeles where the great master lived, taught, and entered mahasamadhi — a rare opportunity to feel the living presence that still radiates through these holy places.
A Pilgrimage of the Heart
Whether you are new to the path or a longtime devotee, this pilgrimage invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and attune yourself to the vibration of grace that still lives in these sacred sites. Guided by the living presence of Paramhansa Yogananda, you will deepen your devotion, expand your awareness, and carry these blessings into your daily life.
“The season of failure is the best time for sowing the seeds of success.”
Paramhansa Yogananda

Your Hosts
“Our life’s work is building this community and sharing the Master’s teachings.”
As the directors of Ananda Los Angeles, Pritha and Dharana welcome every guest to Karuna Devi as family. They will guide your pilgrimage with warmth, devotion, and a deep love for the lineage of Paramhansa Yogananda — and can’t wait to share these sacred vibrations with you.
The Permanent Residents
Five of us make Karuna Devi our permanent home — Dharana, Pritha, Padmini, Hanuman, and Tony. Together we keep the rhythm of daily sadhana, prepare the meals, tend the ashram, and hold the space that makes this a true spiritual home.
When you stay with us, you become part of this little family for the length of your visit — sharing meditation, meals, and the joy of devotional community.
Good to Know
The base rate includes breakfast, lodging, and any sadhanas or workshops happening at the ashram during your stay. Meals, pilgrimage days, and private sessions can be added on.
We suggest at least three nights if you’d like to visit multiple shrines — it gives you time to sink deeper into sadhana and community.
We can typically host guests for up to about two weeks. If you’re hoping for a longer stay, reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If there’s availability, we’re happy to work with you when travel plans change. Just let us know as early as you can.
