This evening will be a combined talk and international launch for the new edition of Swami Kriyananda’s autobiography, The New Path: My Life with Paramhansa Yogananda. Kriyananda is one of the last living direct disciples of the renowned spiritual master, Paramhansa Yogananda, author of the best-selling spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi. During this wide-ranging talk, Kriyananda will share stories—sometimes intimate, often miraculous, and always inspirational--of his time with Yogananda, give rare insight into the life and mission of Yogananda, and present Yogananda’s vision for the world in the coming years—and how it directly both affects and benefits you.

FREE General Admission (Advance Registration required):

General admission tickets for this event, at the beautiful and renowned outdoor Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, are FREE. Although general admission tickets are free, because this event is certain to be at capacity, we require that you pre-register online. VIP Package:

For $100 per person (wholly tax-deductible), you receive premier seating in a special section inside the Ford, an autographed copy of The New Path by Swami Kriyananda, and a gift certificate worth $100 that can be redeemed for Ananda Los Angeles classes, workshops, or other events. $500-$1000 (sliding scale, wholly tax-deductible), includes all of the benefits of the standard VIP package plus an intimate, private dinner with Kriyananda on Saturday, September 26th in Beverly Hills (exact time and location to be provided at the time of purchase). The DELUXE VIP PACKAGE is limited to no more than 20 people, ensuring that this will be a rare opportunity to personally connect with Kriyananda. Ananda LA is a non-profit organization. The revenue from these VIP packages will be used to offset the cost of these events, allowing us to offer free admission for most attendees. Parking and Directions

There is plenty of parking available. You have two choices, depending on your preferences:
Parking Park on Site

Stacked parking $10 per vehicle for the show. Stacked parking means that you will not be able to leave until the cars in front of you have vacated. We appreciate your patience.

Satellite Parking & Shuttle Service

If you would like to avoid on-site stacked parking, the Ford runs a FREE shuttle.
Shuttles start running 2 hours before the show time at 20 minute intervals

Swami Kriyananda will lead an inspirational gathering Sunday 11 am

Swami Kriyananda will lead an inspirational gathering, with special emphasis on Yogananda’s thoughts about the importance of developing spiritual community in these difficult times. Forest Lawn Memorial Park, one of the most serene and beautiful sites in all of LA, is where Paramhansa Yogananda is buried. The non-denominational Church of the Recessional is close to Yogananda’s Crypt. Kriyananda will also relate the miraculous stories about and around Yogananda’s death based on his first-hand experience, as one of the few people still living who was physically present for it.

Optional: After Kriyananda’s talk, Ananda ministers will lead anyone who wishes to Yogananda’s nearby grave site, where they will lead us in chanting and meditation. This is a wonderful opportunity to see and feel the powerful vibrations of where Yogananda is buried—and where the amazing story of his bodily incorruptibility took place. The Church of the Recessional is a stunning chapel, located on a hill, with breathtaking views of Los Angeles. There is plenty of free parking just steps away from the Church.
