Ananda Meditation Groups in Greater LA Area

How to Attend

Just show up! No advance registration is necessary, although if you are coming for the first time, you may want to call in advance.

What to Expect

Groups typically meet weekly or bi-weekly in member’s residences or in nearby public places. Meditation group leaders volunteer their time and efforts. Attendance is free. You can attend any group, no matter how near or far from your residence, to which you feel drawn.

The meetings are informally structured, and always include time for meditation. This may follow by a discussion, book study, affirmations or healing prayers, or another spiritual activity — including time for fellowship.

Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization in each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of spiritual magnetism.

—Paramhansa Yogananda
